Nostalgia Fuel Harley - Rules ? Overview - Nostalgia Fuel Harley Class is designed for Nitro Harleys that are older and mostly not competitive in Top Fuel or Nitro Eleminator anymore and for the fun/loving maybe gray headed riders that still like to take them down the track. The Nostalgia Fuel Harley class will "make sure" that T.S.T. keeps the "PARTY" in Party Drags!! NEW RACERS- Racers contemplating entering in Nostalgia Fuel Harley are requested to contact T.S.T.'s office before race day. New Racers may be required to bring their bikes in for a lengthy pre race technical inspection. As always safety of both racers and all others at the Texas Style Party Drags is of utmost concern. CLASS INDEX - Nostalgia Fuel will run on a 6.00 e.t. Index on l/8th mile tracks and 9.50 on 1/4 mile dragstrips. This means it's like an E.T. Bracket Race where everyone has the same dial-in. Yes, the racers in this class can go too quick and "break out" and lose. (Example: If P.K. got to the finish line first but ran a 5.99 doing so against J.B.'s 6.00, J.B. would automatically be declared the winner and the win light would come on in his lane even though P.K. beat him to the other end)

CLASS WIN - The Class Winner at each different race will be determined by a points system that is unique to the class. There will be 3 rounds of Nostalgia Fuel racing during Professional Class Eleminations. Any runs made during Pro Qualifying sessions will be considered "time trials". Pairings will be done randomly with the object that each racer runs as many different racers as possible. Every racer runs in every round whether they were beaten in the previous round or not. RACING POINTS -10 points are awarded for each round won. 5 points are awarded to the runner-up in each pairing providing they cross the finish line. (No it didn't 't say "under power" did it!). 2 points are awarded if the runner up makes it to at least in view of the grandstands and they wave to the crowd. STYLE POINTS - Competitors in Nostalgia Fuel are awarded Style Points each round by a trackside Panel of Judges observing the race. With either a 3 or 5 Judge Panel, each Judge will have a flip card set and will display the number of points, from one to four, they award each competitor each pass at the prompting of the Track Announcer. The Judge that posts the highest Style Points score for a competitor will not have their points counted and the Judge that posts the lowest Style Points score also will not be counted. The remaining Judges scores will be added up and considered the Style Points Score for that particular race. Style Points scoring is totally up to the discression of each individual Judge, whether he considers an extra long burn-out noteworthy or an exceptionally nice push-back girl a points maker. Racers are requested to: [1] Not disturb the "flow" of the race more than 1 minute with any "pre-race foolishness" [2] Not engage in any actions that could be considered obscene or in bad taste. [3] Have ALL pre-race Style Points JUDGE ENTICEMENTS finished before EITHER bike starts. [4] CLEAR WITH THE PROFESSIONAL CLASS STAGING BOSS ANYTHING BEING PLANNED BESIDES A NORMAL PASS. (POSSIBLE PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY) Points Total: The Nostalgia Fuel CLASS WINNER is determined by adding the Racing Points and the Style Points for each of the 3 rounds together and the competitor with the most points overall will be declared the "Winner" and will receive a Trophy to commemorate the Victory.
