JESUS LOVIN' BIKERS serving BIKERS MOTORCYCLE MINISTRY
Rolled in Friday night….RV and trailer intact…New frig cold and stocked and new ac blowin’ cold !!! (both went out this week!) Saturday morn’ dawned bright and beautiful and COOL! Jim and I set up ministry booth….it was fun setting up together….the rest of the crew were en route….We then embarked on a walk to find our friends from Lousiana, Pastor Jerry and his guys with Radiant Rolling Thunder MM (I met him when getting ordained and he joined our Wheels of Grace Unity Ride ALL the way from LA one WEEK after Ike – came in on faith!), who came to team up with us (how cooleo is that?!)….and found them fellowshipping with Circuit Riders…just as we arrived and had happy greetings, a guy and his girl came up for prayer. The guy….was stammering and couldn’t even express his needs, Pop (Circuit Riders) led our prayer and as we finished praying, I turned to the girl, looked into her eyes and asked her if I could pray for her. The Lord began to reveal her heart which was a mere HAIR’s breadth from the truth…but DON”T YOU KNOW…that a Hair’s breadth is an Eternity? I told her JESUS JESUS JESUS is the Only Way to the Father…and embraced her and repeatedly said please receive Him. She said it was too hard, she said she had been trying to say the name of Jesus every day that week and couldn’t say it…I told her there was a mighty battle being waged about her. We continually had “Holy Ghost” goosebumps at the same! You could feel the battle as we embraced. As she said “it is so hard” I said “it is so easy”…and told her how easy it is. HE has done all the work and all we have to do is RECEIVE. And she did! She did! She did! The release in the spirit was IMMEDIATE and tangible. All please remember Tiffany (and her young son Devlin) in your prayers…and…JZ!drumroll pls….I later found out that Chewy, her guy, had received Jesus too while I was praying with Tiffany!…awe bless the Lord! And at that point in the morning it was already WELL WORTH the trip! We had such awesome fellowship there at the starting end of the track….more Circuit Riders (MontBelvieu), Wayne and Jamie showed up (BY THE WAY…we’ll all be ministering next Sunday in Baytown flyer to follow!)…Ambassadors showed up (found out our lead guitar Charlie rode in with them when they all were at the same gas station!) ….CMA…. Soldiers …and then as I rode up to the entrance it was just in time to greet the Tribe Of Judah, some great brothers. The day continued on with everyone walking round, riding round, fellowshipping, greeting bikers, being there. In the heat of the afternoon the LA riders all packed in to our Rv, along with our drummer & wife’s best friend and husband…12-14 in that RV, incl the whole band+…and we had a couple hours of awesome refreshing fellowship…and you know even as I fought in my soul to be out doing the stuff….everyone agreed that it was Just What THE Doctor Ordered. We’ve all been runnin’ this race and there was such a refreshing and joy in just being together – thank You Jesus and thank you Pastor Jerry for coming all that way….then Tim and Jim (what a TEAM…BBQ Judge Wrangling Team Extraordinaire) brought out their awesome grilling talents and we all had burgs and dogs….(a certain biker pastor won the burg/dog eating contest)… J

Sunday dawned bright and beautiful although a bit “breezy”….the RRT Riders came and helped Jim and the band set up all the equipment (WHAT A JOB THAT IS !)….How we thank you guys for your awesome help! We served coffee and danish and a wonderful crowd showed up…with campers all around sitting here and there listening….Although we had some pretty serious sound problems (no monitors working right – it happens J) we pressed through and we played and sang and preached and prayed….at the end I asked the biker ministers to come up and be available for prayer – how awesome to have the different biker ministries represent together! They stood across the front and a guy came up and they gathered round him… (Jim told me on the way home!)…. he RECEIVED JESUS! You know, we continued to play and minister our music and I remember all the guys Cheering that were at the front praying…but only just found out the guy got saved! I was about to do a hallelujah hop over that one! It says in the Bible that all the angels rejoice when a sinner comes to Jesus…there was rejoicing that day ! The “enemy” must have been one Un-happy camper – a few minutes later – a huge wind (the winds were unbelieveable!) came and our four canopies over our ministry booth all went flying into the air even with 15-40 lb weights on the legs! that’s right…and some of them were destroyed…but hahahahah…they are REPLACEABLE! that soul for Jesus is ETERNAL! so Zot on the devil. Jesus is Lord and He wins again! After we were done and packing up (Thanks AGAIN RRT MM for your help!) I walked back to the RV and was very very exhausted and had that feeling you get when you’re done…kind of reflective….and a lady on a trike stopped and said “ that was a great service!” a couple of times and then she said, “you know I didn’t come out but I sat in my camper and heard all of it…” and I thought to myself…we may never see what goes on in the heart of a man or woman at these events as we sweat, and pray and play and press on…but God does and it is Him and His Spirit that goes out from the stage and hovers over those camp grounds and woos the hearts of men.

Oh please do remember us in your prayers and thank you for your love prayers and support as we continue…pressing onward … Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phillipians 3:13-14

PS… I reflected much on our day spent in fellowship, and. realized that there was a time and season for everything that took place this weekend…and times of refreshing MUST COME. When we spent time with 6 ministries fellowshipping and greeting one another at the busy end of the track – we are representing Jesus and His Body in exactly the way He says… “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” What a shining example as our ministries worked and fellowshipped together.

MANY thanks to you Red and Eve of Texas Scooter Times for allowing us to minister three years now, endless thanks to my never-ending laborer for the Lord…Jim, our relentlessly Jesus Lovin’ Band, and every single one of you – you and Jesus know exactly who you are. May He bless you richly.

May we always be found....Ridin' and Abidin' under the Shadow of The Almighty,
